Can anyone comment on tuktuk tours? The spouse and I are arriving in Lisbon in early October and thought perhaps this would be a good way to get a feel for the city and some of the popular neighbourhoods. Thanks for any advice. There are many options and different prices. .

it is a reseller, search lisbon, click tuk tuks, click an activity, you can look what is offered, scroll down to find company that offers tours and go directly to company
it's nice if they stop for photo shots, stop by cafe for a taste of food.

Did tuk tuk in Lisbon. Disappointed. Only Stopped 3 times over 3hrs. I wished that I would have done more research. Hard to see/hear about the sights in the tuk tuk so you really need to stop at the sights.
We had great experiences with Tuktuk tours in Lisbon, Porto and Sintra. Our guide in Porto was especially informative and brought us to great sights where he gave us time to savor the views, etc. My husband has limited mobility and we saw so much more when we took advantage of the tuktuks!
Tuk-tuk drivers have notorious reputations as rough and ripoff artists.
You can hire your local bolt/uber driver to give you a custom tour with stops of your liking.
Many private car/driver companies offer this service. Check out TripAdvisor or past posts on this forum for referrals.
I recently did a tuk-tuk tour in Lisbon with Boost Portugal, and it was honestly one of the most enjoyable experiences of my trip. Since you're visiting in early October, it’s a perfect time, great weather and not too crowded.
We chose their tour through the traditional neighbourhoods like Alfama, Graça and Mouraria, and it was a fantastic introduction to the city. What I loved most were the stops along the way: we paused at several viewpoints for photos (the kind you’d never find on your own), and even stopped to try some local treats, pastéis de nata and a shot of ginjinha, which made the whole experience feel even more authentic.
The guide was friendly, fun, and full of great stories about Lisbon’s history. It felt like the perfect mix of sightseeing, culture, and just enjoying the moment. Definitely recommend it if you want a relaxed and memorable way to explore the city.
