Tuesday Sept 19th-26th? Lisbon & Porto?

Hi - I am arriving Tuesday Sept 19th in the morning and leaving the following Tuesday morning. I was thinking of doing a few days in Lisbon, taking the train to Porto on Friday and returning to Lisbon on Monday in order to fly out Tuesday.
Is that doable? I would stay Tuesday, Wed, Thursday in Lisbon, train to Porto for Friday, Saturday, Sunday nights. Return for one night in Lisbon..
This is a last minute solo trip so any advice would be greatly appreciated!

The itinerary you mention is doable. It just wouldn't give you a lot of time in either place. Moving from Lisbon to Porto would pretty much take an entire day by the time you check out of and back into hotel, get to and from train station and ride between the cities.

But, if you can't miss seeing Porto, it's doable.
