We would like some advice regarding the best strategy to travel from Granada to Salema--in one day--via buses/trains in June. I realize it will be a long travel day, but it was the only way we were able to arrange our schedule. Would it be best to purchase tickets in advance, from home--or should we just wait and arrange the travel from Granada? Thank you.

If by 'Would it be best to purchase tickets in advance' you want peace of mind - by all means do so, who can foresee how many might 'wing it' as you might. I have never purchased a bus ticket anymore than a day in advance and usually within an hour of departure but I have never had a tight schedule such as yours.
