travel from santiago de compostela to porto portugal

hello.

we will be going to Europe this sunday. our itinerary includes france (9 days), northern spain (9 days) and Portugal (9 days). I have bus and train tickets already from france to Santiago de compostela. we leave Santiago de C on august 24 for porto.

I have checked buses and trains from Santiago de c to porto and it's not very straightforward. I checked renfeeurail.com and alsa.es and found a combination of both which is a challenge. does anyone have a suggestion or has anyone done this before?

ALSA has four direct bus departing on that date, at 10:00, 12:00, 14:00, and 17:30. I think their site is pretty straightforward and you can buy the tickets now, either €27 with no changes allowed or €34 with more flexible rules. At the top of the home page, click the word "Espagnol" to select English.

I went to alsa.es and saw the tickets.

is it more convenient to get off at the airport or in casa da musica? we will stay in holiday inn in the novo gila area. from the map, casa da musica is closer to our hotel.

do you know if there are trains to the city from the airport or is there uber from casa da musica?

If you're taking about Porto, the Metro goes to the airport.

The bus from Santiago to Porto is cheap, easy and a nice ride. The metro does run to the airport, but taxis are super cheap in Portugal.
