Our Rick Steves Portugal tour is in May. Upon finishing in Porto, we are going to spend 3 extra days in Cascais. Travel there by train or fly? Any recommendations? Thank you

I would take the train. It takes 4.5 hours, including a transfer by metro or taxi between Santa Apolonia station and Cais do Sodre station in Lisbon. Tickets probably under $50 per person in second class. No need to book far ahead. See also www.cp.pt.
