Has any one used Busbud? I hesitate to use a third party to book bus tickets. However, I am having trouble with Eva and Rede Exp websites locating points of origin and destinations. Also, I am unable to book for October 5, However, the Busbud site is friendly and I can book for the intended date. Help is always appreciated!

Yes I used Busbud a couple years ago in Northern Spain. Booked four or five trips between cities through them and it was fine. I would use them again.

Must admit Karen, I have nothing useful to add. Just that my first reaction to seeing your post was: “Wow, Lagos, Nigeria to Lisbon, Portugal, that’s quite a bus trip!!” True adventure travel.

I just spent 3 weeks in Portugal and traveled by bus and/or train. I did not have a problem using either the Rede or the CP train site. I went from Lisbon to Lagos and then to Evora, Nazare, Coimbra, Pinhao and Porto before heading back to Lisbon. If you book everything in advance, there are good discounts, so well worth it! good luck! Sandy
