transportation options between Porto Airport and city center

I'm assuming the two best options for travel between the airport and city center are the Metro or taxi/bolt. Can anyone tell me how long of a drive and approximate cost of taxi?
Thank You

We were in Porto about a month ago and took a taxi to city center. We arrived during evening rush hour, so it took a few extra minutes, but not really that long. I would say a little more than 15 minutes. The cost was between 10 and 15 euros. It was well worth it. We are staying in Europe for a two and half months, so we had a couple suitcases and a small carry-on each. We did not want to try to figure out the Metro and deal with our luggage since we are both over 70 years of age and were tired from our travel.

Hello there, Uber is also available for you in Porto. I paid about 20 Euros in late Feb 2023 from City center to Porto airport. I think it is worth it for you to take Uber or Taxi, don't bother with the Metro when you land in Porto airport.

If you are the type of person who is comfortable with public transportation, the Metro train works fine from the airport. That's what I used, but I'll always use public transit when it's a decent option.

If you are the type of person who prefers taxis, sounds like you have good options there and that it might not be expensive.

We are flying into Porto in September.

You can use Google Maps to figure out travel time and in some situations cost to travel from OPO airport to your accommodations in the city.

For us, Google Maps says it will take about 40 minutes to take transit, and depending on the option, it may require transfers or 5 to 10 minutes of walking to our apartment.

Google Maps says taking Bolt will only take about 25 minutes and only cost approximately €15 door to door. Good luck.

Does anyone know if the Bolt van for 8 also have room for 8 pieces of carryon luggage as well. Tried reaching out to them but have had little luck reaching anyone.
