Transport within Lisbon

Just want to confirm my ticketing strategy... not sightseeing in Lisbon on this trip, but need to overnight there twice within the space of 2 weeks.

Trips:
- Airport > hotel near Saldanha metro... then return to Airport the following morning. 2 red-line metro journeys
- Airport > airport hotel near Vasco Da Gama (X) Av Ralis near airport... then return the following morning. 2 bus #2713 journeys

Ticket: Purchase magnetic Navegante card + load with "Zapping" value, which covers all 4 journeys. I assume bus #2713 will have the same sort of card reader that the metro uses.

Each journey subtracts €1.66 from my Navegante card. So I need to load about €7 to do these rides.

OK, will this work? Appreciate any help you can offer.

Just bumping this up.

Russ is always so helpful in the Germany forum, I’m hoping someone can help him here.

That works. You can also just use your credit card and tap to pay, and save a little hassle.

When we travel, (two of us), Uber or Bolt are faster and not costly, maybe 10 to 15 euro to most places in central Lisbon from the airport.

OK, thanks! Didn't know about the credit card shortcut.

Wow, that's great. No more learning curve / staring dumbly at a ticket machine! And DW will get CC points with every ride. What's not to like about that?

Thanks for that post, Carrie.
