Trains from Porto to Lisbon

In Porto, we will be at the Se Cathedral Hotel Porto
R. Chã 38 44, 4000-164 Porto, Portugal

Does the following train plans make since, timewise in Porto? Will we be able to find our train track fast in the Campanha Train Station?

12:30 pm At Porto Sao Bento Train Station, take a train to Campanha Train Station.

12:45 pm Take train from Campanha Train Station to Lisbon Santa Apolonia,
arrives at 4:00 pm.

To be on the safe side, I would do one of the following:

  • Take a slightly earlier train from São Bento to Campanhã. This allows for delays. (I was there during a strike in 2023, and random trains would get canceled.) Also, this plan gives you more time to get to your train at Campanhã. Since you'll presumably have luggage with you, extra time is nice.
  • Just take a taxi or a rideshare from your hotel straight to Campanhã. Cut out São Bento completely.
