We would like to take the high speed train from Porto to Lisbon. Our hotel is near the Rossio station. We would appreciate advice on the best way to travel, since it appears that the high speed train does not stop at Rossio.
The easiest way would be to take the train from Porto to Santa Apolónia station in Lisbon.. Then take a taxi from the train station to your hotel. Taxis are pretty inexpensive and plentiful.
You can also take the metro but it requires a change at the Baixa/Chiado station.
If I were doing it, I would take a taxi.
Yes, take the train to Santa Apolónia.
You can take a direct metro from Santa Apolónia to Restauradores, which isn't far from Rossio. I stayed near Rossio Square in May and did it the opposite way. Use Google Maps to find the best public transit routing to your hotel and see if Restauradores is close enough.
