Saw on web site that it was under construction and can’t be used. Does anyone know whether that is the case. I’d like to take the train between Regua and Pinhao and back. Is that possible?

If you can, I highly recommend it. We did a 7 day cruise on the Douro that was fantastic and we saw the train line that runs on the north shore of the river.

Funny. I looked at this several weeks ago as I was planning that part of our trip. The website was:

And it had a description of problems and even had one of the options (see the site) crossed through. Now I don’t see warnings. I will definitely check out your website for the steam train as I was really looking forward to it and we are staying in Lamego, just south of Regua. Thanks!!!

Tried to check on the steam train, but so far having trouble getting through to the ticket site. The one shot I got at it, didn’t show any open seats for June 4 or 5th. I assume tthe regular train also has the great views?
