Train connection time at Oriente station in Lisbon

We are planning to travel from Sintra to Coimbra via train. From boarding in Sintra, we need to change trains at Oriente station. The time I am looking at only gives 7 minutes to make this connection. With deboarding, possible slow people in front of us and collecting our luggage from the rack, is this enough time for us to locate the new track and not miss our connection? The transfer would be around 9am

We used the AP often and it was always on time (assuming you're taking the AP from Oriente to Coimbra).
Commuter trains are usually ok but they can be late.
I would prefer more than 7 minutes so that I can go to the ticket booth to ask which platform is for the AP Northbound.

Pay close attention to the train from Sintra to Oriente, not all are direct, some require transfers along the way.

Give yourself some more time at Oriente of you can. I took the train from Oriente to Sintra when I first arrived in Lisbon last year. I don’t know if there was a temporary problem, but the train destinations were not posted by the entrance to the tracks and I had a hard time figuring out what track the train would arrive on. I had to ask a couple different local residents for help. The person at the ticket booth didn’t know which track the train would depart from. She sent me to customer service. No one was in the customer service office.
