Hello all!
We’re currently in Tomar with Rick’s 2019 guide. Of the 4 restaurants we wanted to try all but 1 has closed. Does anyone have any recommendations? All food welcome!

I don't have the RS guide, but the one place I really enjoyed in Tomar is Taverna Antica
I listed a couple of places we enjoyed in my trip report here
Enjoy beautiful & peaceful Tomar!
Below are the Lonely Planet entries from the places I ate in Tomar in 2019. I hope this helps and that they are still open.
Restaurante Tabuleiro PORTUGUESE €€ ( MAP GOOGLE MAP ; Rua Serpa Pinto 140 ; mains €8-12
; h noon-3pm & 7-10pm Mon-Sat ; c ) Located just off Tomar’s main square, this family-friendly local hang-out features warm, attentive service, good traditional food and ridiculous (read: more-than-ample) portions. A great spot to experience local fare. The cod pie is a standout. (I had dinner here).
Café Paraíso CAFÉ ( MAP GOOGLE MAP ; cafeparaisotomar.com ; Rua Serpa Pinto 127 ; snacks from
€2.50 ; h 8am-2am Mon-Sat, 9am-7pm Sun ) More than 100 years old and frozen in time since its renovation in 1946, this old-fashioned, high-ceilinged deco cafe serves as a refuge for anyone in need of a mid-afternoon snack and a shot of caffeine or whisky.
(I had coffee and a snack here).
