Time in Lisbon vs Porto

Hi all you helpful people!
We've not been to Europe in a few years and I want to take my wife to Portugal for the first time. I'm thoroughly enjoying the latest RS Portugal guidebook - but just looking at trying to tap into all the expertise on this forum.
We're going to Portugal for 11 days - I was thinking of 4 days Lisbon/ 4 days Porto and then the last 3 days in the Azores on Sao Miguel - then fly home to Canada.

When we travel in Europe, we usually spend time in cities vs. countryside/beaches and don't like to pack and move locations too often. My question is about the 4 days in both Lisbon and Porto - given that Lisbon is so much bigger than Porto - would it make more sense to spend 5 days in Lisbon and 3 in Porto?
Are Nazare or Coimbra worth it so much to spend 1 night in one of those places instead of 4 nights in Porto?

Thank you so much for any response!

11 days= 10 nights or 11 nights?
If 10, I'd do Lisbon 4/Porto 3/ Azores 3
If 11, +1 to the Azores.

Nazaré is definitely not worth it in your case, and Coimbra would take away some valuable time so I am inclined against it.

Also, regarding the Azores: I hope you are not flying back through mainland Portugal to go back to Canada? Otherwise it's a tiresome extension to your trip.

Thanks for the response. We are flying back directly from Azores to Toronto so should be quicker than flying from the mainland.

Hi balso and op - I’m going there for 10 nights and want to keep Lisbon, Porto and Azores as destinations.
Land Lisbon on June 9th at 11 am and fly back 12 pm on June 19th from Lisbon. I enjoy countryside, old towns, culture, food, scenic, some historical places. We are nature lover. We will have 2 boys 7 & 9 yr old with us. Kids will enjoy some beach time. They traveled to Europe 2 times. Any recommendations?
