Two of us are flying into Lisbon from Seville in September. Should we stay all three nights in Lisbon or one (or more) in Sintra? We fly out of Lisbon. Itinerary?
Recommendations for accommodations are welcome, too.

I would stay the three nights in Lisbon. Three days is barely enough time to enjoy the sites and ambiance of Lisbon. If you want to see Sintra, it's an easy train ride so no reason to change hotels.
Regarding itinerary - read RS or another good guidebook, this forum or Trip Advisor to see what interests you. A good part of the charm of Lisbon IMO is having long lunches on a miradouro enjoying the views.

Stay in Lisbon the whole time. You can see Sintra and it's two palaces, Pena Pslace and Palacio Nacional( my favorite) in a half a day.
Take train from Rossio station, easy trip.

I stayed at the Lisboa Plaza Hotel in Lisbon for several nights last year and I would go back there whenever I return to Portugal.

Sadly, the Lisboa Plaza is unavailable our dates, September 18-21.
