Please offer advice on the planned itinerary - we are flying into Lisbon, out of Porto. Making flight arrangements this week and want to see thoughts on split of days between the 3 and overall total number of days. Number of day trips out of Lisbon and Porto vs days in Lisbon and Porto, also, thoughts on travel on Easter Sunday and/or spending Easter weekend in the valley (thought this would be a nice way to wind down the trip). Day trips we are thinking about were Sintra, Cascais, Obidos, Braga, Guimaraes. Balancing total number of days with total day trips and taking our time. We don't need to see everything. The 3 options below are the flights that work best. Planning on train travel only (possible car rental in Porto for trip to DV. Thanks for the suggestions and pointers.
Basically, it's an 11 or 12 or 13 - night trip
April 9 - April 20 for 11 nights - travel home on Easter Sunday - 4/5 nights Lisbon, 3/4 nights Porto, 3 nights Douro Valley, day trips prioritize options to Sintra, Cascais, Obidos, Braga, Guimaraes
April 10 - April 22 - 12 nights - Spend Easter in DV - 4/5 nights Lisbon, 4/5 nights Porto, 3 nights Douro Valley, prioritize options to Sintra, Cascais, Obidos, Braga, Guimaraes
April 9-April 22 - 13 nights - Spend Easter in DV - 5/6 nights in Lisbon, 4/5 nights in Porto, 3 nights in Douro Valley, prioritize options to Sintra, Cascais, Obidos, Braga, Guimaraes
