thinking of visiting Lisbon this April- question about JFK/Newark

HI
I am planning on going to Lisbon this April- i have a choice to fly out of JFK or Newark- prices are similar w/ Delta at JFK and United at Newark.
does anyone have any recommendations on which airport would be better to fly out of?
Parking looks like it will be w/ taxes around $25-30 per day
thanks

Costs and schedules being equal/similar, I'd probably base my choice on which side of the Hudson you live on, meaning which airport is easier to get to.

Oh, and the United flight might be on a narrow-body plane, which some people try to avoid for longer flights. Look for '757' in the flight info.

I’ve never flown out of Newark but have taken folk to that airport. While I’m extremely fond of JFK and Delta Airlines operation there I would recommend that you choose the airport that is most convenient to get to. You also should (as pointed out above) look for a wide body aircraft (twin aisles).

I always go with Newark. It's smaller and more manageable compared to JFK. Newark is also a fairly easy airport to drive to. There are multiple ways to access the airport and traffic backups aren't common. At both airports the official parking lots require you to make advance reservations for the lowest rates via their websites.

I flew into Newark for the first time last month. I was very impressed with it
