Does anyone know about any thermal pools near Lisbon? Or any other nice thermal pools in the country ... not too out of the way?

The Azores have plenty of thermal pools, but if you're going to Lisbon, it's doubtful that helps you.

There is Luso Thermal spa just north of Coimbra. This is also the town where Luso drinking water is bottled. Close by is the Bucaco Forest for hiking too.
