I have a car reserved at the airport, but we arrive after dark. I don't want to drive into an unfamiliar city, in the dark, and try to find the parking lot.
The thought was to take a cab in, spend the first day walking around the city, rent a car the following day. Are there any reputable car rental companies where you can pick up a car in Angra rather than spending another 30 euro to go back out to the airport to get a car?

The ride from the airport into Angra is extremely easy to navigate. 95% of this route is on a modern, traffic-free highway. Use Google maps or Waze to plot the route. Does the hotel offer free parking?
