Is there a direct bus? Any information on how to purchase tickets would be helpful I have tried several sites with no luck.

With a quick search on Flixbus, there are no buses from Tavira to Sevilla. You have to go to Faro. Then the bus is direct. Flixbus has an app and it’s very easy to use to purchase tickets. I’m not certain if you need to purchase after you arrive in Portugal but that’s possible. However, if you purchase a few days in advance, there should be no problem.
