The last bit of our Spain/Portugal itinerary is to take the bus from Seville to Tavira and after spending 2 nights in Tavira rent a car and work our way back to Lisbon visiting small towns along the way. We leave Tavira December 10 and fly out of Lisbon December 14. I only see 3 car rental places listed in Tavira and I don’t recognize any of them. Perhaps someone on this forum has a suggestion?

From Seville, I would take the direct bus to Faro airport. Europcar, Avis and Budget all have offices at Faro airport. If you don’t want the car that long, you could take bus from Tavira to Faro. There is a Guerin rental office in downtown Tavira but it gets mixed reviews. The difference in rental fees for the two additional days is only about $30 and to me is worth the cost.
