Is Tavira a good stop when visiting the Algarve? We need a spot easy to train from Lisbon and to take the bus from to Seville

Tavira is one of the towns that retains some traditional character and is the most obvious location between Lisbon and Seville. The beach is on the barrier island, reached by a short water taxi ride. There are plenty characterful buildings to explore on the western side of the river.
