Suggestions welcome for itinerary and lodging

I will be in Portugal 2 weeks (last week of March, First week of April). Arrive Lisbon and plan to rent a car and head to Evora. Spend one night in Evora (hotel suggestion with parking?) From Evora head to Coimbra and see some places along the way. Spend the night there (hotel w/parking?) Then drive to Douro Valley by way of Viseu. Suggestions for a few wineries in Dao valley to visit around there? Not sure if we will make it to Pinhao that day or not (suggestions on vineyards and lodging?). After a day or two we head to Porto. Spend 3 days in Porto and then work our way to Sintra. Spend one or two nights in Sintra. If we get there late the first day, may spend another day. Not sure if that is too much time. From there we will return the car and stay in Lisbon until we leave.

Any suggestions for lodging (need to have parking except Lisbon) and things we should not miss would be appreciated.

Hi mosut
I am the author of the above referenced trip report. Haven't had a chance to finish what with the holidays and such.

Hotels not yet in the report in places you mention: Coimbra- Hotel Oslo, Sintra- Chalet Relogio. I do plan to report on the remainder of the trip. We enjoyed the alentejo and central areas of the country which have little coverage in the RS guide. Take a look at "Julie Dawn Fox in Portugal". Might give you some ideas for places on the way. Portugal exceeded our expectations. Enjoy!

Well, you certainly covered a lot of territory in 2 weeks. Wasn't planning to head any further west from Evora. Did you go to Dao wine area? Wondering if it is worth a stop or continue on to Douro Valley. Can anyone recommend a place to stay in Pinhao? Hoping to drive from Coimbra to Pinhao in one day with a few stops on the way. Recommendations welcome on places to see or stay.
