Suggestions on Lisbon accommodations for a family

Hello,

Absolutely overwhelmed with finding lodging in Lisbon for our family. Hoping some of you may have suggestions to help me narrow down my searching.

We would like 1 room to accommodate 2 adults and 2 teens (both age 15 ). We would consider rooms with adjoining doors as well if we can't find 1 room for all of us. We'd prefer to stay in the neighborhoods of Baixa or Chiado. We want to stay in a hotel, preferably with breakfast on-site. We are not interested in doing an AirBnB/VRBO or hostels. It does not appear the listings in Rick's book are going to meet our needs so wondering if you all have some additional suggestions in these neighborhoods.

Thanks!

Use a hotel search engine like booking (Julie Dawn Fox website has a link to booking). Input your dates and 4 adults (children are over 12), 1 room. Some hotels have family suites. MyStory Rossio in Rossio square has a family suite. It may be cheaper to get 2 connecting rooms. For example, for 4 dates in June 2022 the family suite at MyStory Rossio was 1649.00 US dollars. A full service apartment maybe the way to go. Check to make sure linens and towels are included in the rental and not extra. I would be happy to help you if I knew your dates.

After much research, I booked the Lisbon Art Stay Apartments. The address for the specific property we booked is Rua Dos Sapateiros 158. This is the Baixa area. We booked a two bedroom, two bathroom unit. They have three bedroom units as well. Our unit is 861 square feet so quite large. This is an apartment hotel - you’ll get hotel services - not a VRBO-type place.

Breakfast is included. We are spending $1233 for a 7 night stay in April.
