I am trying to get a rough itinery together for a ten day trip to Portugal for me and my family. We have two sons age 11 and 14. We have been to Spain before, but did not do anything in southern Spain. I first thought maybe we go to Portugal and then hit some of southern Spain but that seems to much, we should just concentrate on Portugal right? I am at a lost on where to begin. My husband is good at getting the flights and hotels if I tell him the towns/cities we want to go but I have no idea where to begin. Any ideas would be great. We like doing day tours, like food tours, or museums. To give you an idea: From the trip to Spain our boys still talk about 1) going to a guys house in Valencia and making Paella, 2) food tour in Barcelone 3) the food tour of san sebastian and trip to France from San Sabestian 4) and our favorite a chartered boat around san sebastian with lunch and swimming off the boat.
