Strikes in Portugal

We are heading to Portugal early September and was wondering if anyone has had any experience with the strikes whilst holidaying in Portugal. We've booked a number of train tickets and just a little concerned that the current strikers will continue and how it's going to affect us getting to our various destinations.

We vacationed in Portugal last September and went through the same worries. We learned that there is always a threat of strikes and just went with the flow. Just buy your train tickets and deal with any strike if one should affect you. You can always take the bus or rent a car. You could even consider using a rideshare like blablacar. Or take a cheap flight.
