Will be driving from Nazare to Coimbra and wondering if Batalha is possible for a short visit.

Batalha would be an extremely easy short stop. Easy in and out of town. On street parking and I believe there is also a lot. We stayed over night in Batalha right next to the lovely and interesting monastery and parking was never an issue

We maybe spent a couple hours visiting the monastery last September. When we visited we parked in a free car park by R. do Infante Dom Fernando 9. It’s a couple minutes walk from the monastery. There’s an Intermarché grocery store across the street. The closer lots were pay parking. After visiting, we had a soft drink at a cafe in the plaza. It was cash only.
