St Francis church in Evora

I think a year or so. I was there in June and it was under heavy, heavy construction. But the chapel of bones is open.

Thanks for the info. Is it worth a visit of Evora without seeing the whole church?

I'm not 100% sure about your question. The chapel of bones is terrific, and Evora is great, but it was disappointing to have the church completely covered up (you have to walk through it to get to the bones). There's a lot to see in/around Evora besides St Francis..

To second the opinion....Evora is a lovely city. A few Roman Ruins, several churches and lots of standing neolithic standing stones just outside (among other things.) Good restaurants too. I would go to Evora again even if the church was not open.
