I will not name a company because I own one in Lisbon, but three facts help whoever you book. Monday is a good day for Sintra: Pena, Regaleira and the Moorish Castle open on Mondays, unlike Belém's monuments in Lisbon. Ask the operator to name the Pena time slot they hold for you: on 1 September the official ticket office already showed 14 September's 09:30 and 10:00 slots sold out, with 10:30 onward open (bilheteira.parquesdesintra.pt), so a vague "we handle the tickets" is a warning sign. And ask for the company's RNAAT number, the Turismo de Portugal licence every legal operator has to show. Manuel, Swingo
