Is the artist easel necessary for painting my small watercolors in Lisbon? I am planning to sketch and copy some of the moorish tiles too. Any suggestions?

Do you normally use an artist easel?
Lisbon is a busy city with some very narrow streets, so if you’re painting tiled buildings in areas like Alfama I struggle to think where you could put up an easel that won’t be in the way.
However there are also some fabulous miradoures - viewpoints - where there would be space for an easel, I think, so it’s completely up to you.
