Same question within two minutes. I guess she is unhappy because we didn't instantly respond. Since star rating is dependent on the service level provide and not a rating of quality, what services are specific looking for?

In Lisbon we are booked into the Avienda Palace for October. It’s an older hotel, what I would catoregize as having ‘old world charm’.

delicious breakfasts. Highly recommend!
Lisbon: Avenida Palace Hotel or Palacio Ludovice
Have a bica and a pastel de nata in Rossio Square.

In Porto we enjoyed Hotel NH Porto Jardim. It had a very good breakfast buffet. From it we walked everywhere. Coming back from the waterfront area we passed a street full of pastry shops. If you needed to do laundry, there’s a self-service laundromat a five minutes walk from it. One reason we selected it was because it has its own parking garage and we had a rental car.
