Our tour ends in Santiago, and we have 2-3 extra days left for R&R in the area. I'd love to find an oceanfront apt or condo to rent. After scouring the usual vrbo types, I find nothing that is directly on the water. I like the Viana de Castela area, or maybe Porto. But really hope to find something directly on the water. Tips? Referrals? Any help is appreciated! Our trip is in later April, 2020. THANK YOU‼️

You might want to look at Espinho. It’s very close to Porto and has a very large beach. I have friends who live there and they love it. I haven’t been there, so am going strictly on their recommendation and the proximity to Porto.
Also, Matosinhos is right on the water outside of Porto. It’s accessible by metro and bus from Porto. I’ve been there a couple of times to eat the excellent fish. But, I don’t know anything about the holiday rentals.
