Sao Miguel Azores - bathroom situations at various hiking trails

My wife and I are going to Sao Miguel later this year. We would like to spend a lot of time hiking different parts of the island, but my wife, being a middle aged woman, needs to go to the bathroom somewhat frequently (every 2 ~ 3 hours). Is there any website that provides information about bathrooms at each attraction? In US, almost all the trails are owned and maintained either by a municipality or a non-profit, so there is usually a website for each county park or state park with a map that shows where the parking lot is and where the bathrooms are. I am looking for the equivalent of that for the attractions in Sao Miguel.

I tried Alltrails but no luck. The only option is to use Google or TripAdvisor to search for each trail and then read through the reviews and hopefully somebody else would mention bathroom, but it's time consuming and not reliable -- just because nobody said anything about bathroom on a trail, it doesn't mean there isn't one.

I would think that other people have needed the same kind of information, so hopefully it's available somewhere.

I have been visiting the Azores since 1994, and Sao Miguel especially, on every trip. I know of no website that has this information. Hiking trails pass by/through/near/around lots of villages where you will have bathroom options at cafes, museums, churches, supermercados (supermarkets), public swimming pools and natural ocean swimming locations, municipal buildings, etc., so you will almost always be near a place to use. You never have to pay to use a bathroom in the Azores. I also point out the different names used for bathrooms and the many ways to flush toilets in the Azores. Trust me, you will learn a lot in those pages.

What I am 100% certain of is that I include in my Azores guidebook the precise locations of hundreds of bathrooms, not only on the island of Sao Miguel, but all nine islands. I made it a point to add this information because it really is important for travelers to know this extremely pertinent information.

At the top of this Portugal forum is a post written by the webmaster regarding Azores travel advice. You will find a link to my Azores guidebook (available on Amazon) there. The first 52 pages are absolutely free to read. You can peruse all the detailed self-guided driving and walking tours (over 60 days worth) covering all the islands of the Azores. Be sure to also read “About The Author” to understand why I wrote this guidebook.

I am always a private message away for any Azores questions.

You could try this link. It's the link I used last year when I wanted to hike on Sao Miguel. I'm not sure whether it would list bathroom access or not, but I found it useful. The information you need may be there, I just wasn't looking for it at the time.

Edited to add:
On the page for each trail, there is a trail map on the lower right hand corner. Where there are bathroom facilities, a WC is listed on the map itself.
