Route from Sao Martinho do Porto to Lamego

Hi. After spending 3 nights in Sao Martinho do Porto we will be driving up to Lamego where we will spend 5 nights at a quinta as we explore that area of the Douro. Does anyone have a suggestion for a nice route we can take?

I don't kmow that area at all, but viamichelin.com will give you one or more routes, anf the maps on the website mark scenic roads in green.

Thanks, acraven, for reminding me about viamichelin.com. Have you used rome2rio.com for getting a sense of how long it might take you to get from place to place. It'll show you the times they think it will take if traveling by car, rail, bus and even walking. They map it out for you. It's pretty wild. I don't know how accurate it is but it is fun to play and plan with.
