hey, thanks for stopping by again! A couple friends and I will be driving from the airport down to Lagos next weekend. Any routes in particular y’all just love? I’m looking at Google Maps, and it looks like the no tolls route runs along the coast; I can’t imagine it not being amazing! After Lagos, we are heading to Porto, with a stop in Coimbra for the night. I definitely appreciate funky, off the beaten path places with good markets (we’re heading down Saturday), and i’m sure good food is to be had almost everywhere. thank you again for all of your helpful information, I really appreciate it!

Never been, yet. In September, four of us plan to rent a car and drive from Lisbon to stay four nights in Lagos. Fastest route would take about 3 hours (301 km). Our current plan is to make a stop in Evora for a quick visit and lunch. Total travel time will be over 4 hours (383 km).
