Morning Tour is ending around 12:45 and we have time for lunch on October 5th travel day. Thinking of Enoteca Cartuxa for lunch or looking for other recommendations. Saw Enoteca in one of the travel books. Other thoughts?
After lunch I was thinking of visting the Rota dos Vinhos do Alentejo and sampling local wines as we have no commitments until dinner at 8:00 PM. Our tour would have allowed us already to have visited a cathedral, tomas temle and Chapel of Bones. Other thoughts on things to do or places to eat.

I am not sure if your morning tour is the Megalith tour. If not, I highly recommend it (eboramegalithica.com). For dinner, we really enjoyed Taberna Tipica Quarta Feira, which offers a fixed menu so you do not get to pick what you eat, but it was all delicious. I believe they take cash only, and a reservation is a must. The owner, who is a character and excellent host, must have turned away
more than 15 parties when we were there.

I had a great lunch at the Cafe of the Museu de Arte Sacra de Se just behind the Cathedral. The staff spoke great English and their courtyard was a very pleasant spot for lunch.
