Restaurant advice for some of out Portugal trip

Hi,

Doing 2 weeks in October. We've got some good recommendations for Porto and Lisbon but could appreciate some advice in other towns:

Pinhao,
Guimaraes,
Soajo (Peneda Geres Nat'l Park area),
Lagos.

Any can't miss places in these 4 towns??

I have found Trip Advisor to be pretty good with restaurant reviews in Portugal. As in most places, getting even a block or two off the main tourist track will improve the food quality considerably.

We've found in our travels to avoid any place that has pictures of food and the barker out front trying to get you in the door.

Instead, look for places with the menu on a chalkboard and usually with just a handful of items.
