I am helping a family member with a trip to Faro and am looking for a recommendation for a well located hotel for not more than US$200 per night for the last week of September. Up until today, we thought she had to get to Porto and had researched that and gotten air travel and the hotel but now she has to go to Faro instead. The traveler is in her early sixties and traveling alone and would prefer a hotel over a vacation rental. We are looking the Ibis but that looks like it is too far away from the center. We have also found Hotel Sol Algarve by Kavia. Any recommendations or suggestions or thoughts on the two mentioned hotels are will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
