We are changing our plans in Lisbon due to Airport Strike. We will be flying into the Lisbon Airport from Malaga and flying back to the states the following day. We will have the afternoon and evening after getting in from Malaga and would like a convenient hotel and good lunch/dinner for our final day. Do not want to travel into Lisbon and hope there is some nice places/area near the airport. Thanks for the recommendations and happy travels!

To be honest, the Lisbon airport is basically right in town, and taxis cheap, a couple years ago it was like 10 euro from the airport by taxi or Uber/Bolt to city center in 15 minutes or so.
So just find a place there, I used IHG points at a Holiday Inn Express. There are any number of restaurants as you get toward the shore, and a market with a food hall (The Time Out Market) that has lots of local places, bars, desserts etc. If you are into seafood, look for a Marisqueira, basically a place that serves lots of shellfish and other seafood, simply, probably the best known is Marisqueire Ramiro, but there are lots more.
