Rapid NAAT Covid test for travel to Portugal

My wife and I are leaving for Portugal in 5 days (4/19), We are planning to use a Rapid NAAT test provided by Walgreens. The information on which specific tests meet Portugal's entry requirements is unclear and confusing. Does anyone have experience wjith using the Walgreen rapid NAAT test for entry into Portugal?

Yes, this test works fine. I used it, no difficulty whatsoever. It's a NAAT, which is the important part. Just make sure you get the rapid NAAT not the antigen, which is a whole separate thing.

Use this site - official. It specifically says "PCR (or similar NAAT test).

We used Walgreen’s antigen test - the one that’s only good for 24 hours for Portugal. This was just last week.
No one actually ever looked at it but we did do the pre-flight FlyReady with AirFrance before we left Seattle. Air France asked us to upload our passports, tests and Portugal PLF. We did that and AirFrance wrote back saying we were rejected for FlyReady because our tests were too old. I wrote them back that the 24 hour requirement applied to our SeaTac initial airport departure and they replied by issuing the FlyReady designation to us.

But I don’t think it mattered. At SeaTac, they only wanted our CDC cards and at CDG they didn’t see any FlyReady status and still wanted our Portugal passenger locator forms and passport.

The COVID tests never came out of my travel pack.

I see everyone referring to Walgreens as the tester. Does it make any difference if the test is done at CVS?

Obrigado,

Well we just flew from Seville Spain to Lisbon on Tap Air. Sherpa website indicates US Vacc cards are not accepted in Portugal, so a negative COvid test is required for entry. We used the proctored Binax tests, administered about 18 hours before our flight. We had our negative test documents in hand. When we checked in at the Seville airport, we were not asked for any test or vaccination card. When we landed in Lisbon, we gathered our baggage and walk straight out of the terminal to a taxi. No one asked us for any documentation.
