Trying to go from Lisborn to Pico and then to Porto. Which airline should we use?
Also any advice on where to stay in Pico?

SATA airlines is your BEST option connecting in either Ponta Delgada or Terceira. Go to the SATA homepage www.sata.pt and on the left of the page towards the bottom click on flights, then click schedules...use a date closest to your travels and the entire weekly schedule will appear. You could get to Ponta Delgada on Ryanair or Easyjet and then connect with SATA, but I would not take the chance in case of a flight delay or cancellation. If your SATA flight is delayed or cancelled, they will put you on the next flight to your destination, or pay for a hotel and food if the next flight is the following day. Not so using Ryanair or Easyjet. TAP airlines also codeshares with SATA so the flight to/from the Azores may be on their planes, no big deal. I have not been to Pico, but you could look at www.booking.com or www.azores.com for many options. That about sums it up! Enjoy the Azores!!!
