Hi everyone,
I'm traveling with a friend and we have 6 1/2 days in Portugal at the end of September. We fly into Lisbon.
What do we do?? (other than Lisbon and Sintra)
Should we go up to Porto? (I know it's a 2-3 hour train ride)
Should we do some Azores traveling? (I know that's a 2-3 hour flight) If we do go to the Azores, what do we do there?
Any other cities we definitely need to see?
Any advice/help would be greatly appreciated!

How many nights actually in Portugal - six? Flying out of Lisbon too? If so, I'd probably stay in Lisbon. And do day trips. Or at least, if you want to go to Porto, head immediately to Porto from the Lisbon airport by train and then spend a few nights and come back to Lisbon at the end. I haven't been to the Azores, but it seems like too much extra travel to get to/from there, personally.
The Azores could easily fill more than 6.5 days, so leave these for another trip.
Base yourself in Lisbon and have 2 nights in either Porto or Evora.
Are you only interested in cities? There are many towns such as Tomar, Obidos and Alcobaca that are worth visiting if you want historical towns.
