Would love some input and recommendations regarding our very rough itinerary. We are in our 60's but very active and want to make sure to do a bike/hike at some point during the trip along with wine tasting, cooking classes and lots of walking and seeing the culture. We are open to renting a car for some or all - like the idea of doing both train and car. We will want to do tours of the areas and see UNESCO sites (at least 1-2)
Day 1 - fly into Porto
Porto
Douro Valley
pinhao
Obidos
Nazare
Sintra
Coimbra
Evora
Day 9-12 Lisbon
Some can be day trips from Porto or Lisbon possibly as we only want to stay in a maximum of 4 places

My wife and I (similar age to y'all) spent 11 days in Portugal in Aug 2023, starting in Porto (4 nights), moving to Coimbra (2 nights), and ending in Lisbon (4 nights). While in Lisbon we made a day trip to Sintra.
