Portugal in November

Is this a good time to visit Portugal? I know about the rain, how about things being open, shops, museums, wineries, etc?

Since Portugal has a population of over 10 million, of course everything is open in November.. The only days that everything is closed is Christmas and New Year’s Day.
I like November here, as the tourists have mostly gone and the temperatures are nice. Yes, there is more rain but it rarely rains all day.

My last trip to Portugal was in mid-November and the weather and absence of tourist hoards made it a perfect time to visit. Maybe I was lucky, but saw no rain whatsoever. Of course if you’re looking for beach activities, it’s the wrong time to go.
