We are currently living in the Netherlands and are thinking about going to Portugal as a family (3 kids ages 8/7/7) after xmas through new years (maybe 10 days?). Any helpful tips on where to go/what to do that is relatively kid friendly. Given the time of year, visiting beaches arent a priority. Thanks in advance!!!

It’s not likely to be beach weather and the water parks close in the winter. The boat trips are probably not running either.
Lagos Zoo is open all year round. Lagos would be a good base, as places will remain open.
Silves Castle or Aljezur Castle maybe of interest to your children.
Rent bicycles for a day. Cliff top walking. Explore the dramatic coastline around Aljezur.
