How much is closed in Lisbon and the Algarve around Easter? We're trying to figure out when we should visit and one of our options would include Easter weekend. How much stuff is closed leading up to and including Easter? I'm interested in knowing mostly about restaurants and shops as we've been before seen most of the big sights.

Nothing is closed around Easter as it’s a big tourist time of the year. For some reason a lot of Spanish come to Portugal during that time. You might find some things closed on Easter Sunday but the restaurants do a great business with families on the holiday. Be sure to make a reservation for lunch on Easter Sunday.
