We will be in Portugal for 11 nights in early May.
Interested in incorporating some nature/hikes, but also love history, architecture, Cathedrals and churches. Any suggestions or tips?
The plan so far:
Lisbon - 2 nights (rent car to leave Lisboa)
Coimbra - 3 nights (day trip to be decided)
Geres National Park (Soajo) - 3 nights
Braga - 3 nights (day trip to be decided)

Since you have an interest in churches, consider Alcobaca and Batalha monasteries and the Convent of. Christ in Tomar.
Jaimee thank you, but we actually did all those places last year. Our base was Tomar.
Day trip from Coimbra we were thinking maybe Viana and ponte Lima.
Braga side trip: Guimarães or Aviero.
