Porto Wine Tours

Trip Advisor is good for choosing day trips. I used CoolTour Oporto several years ago and was very pleased. They do small group tours. If you want a private tour, I would look at TA for those also.

I just took the Duoro River tour with the tour group mentioned above. Excellent! I had a great group and guide. Highly recommend it.

I'd recommend this Douro Valley day tour. We can't speak more highly of it. It was two small groups of 7 people. Our group had 4 Rick Steves people! We visited 2 wineries, the groups were only together at the first winery. The tour also included a private cruise and lunch at one of the wineries. There was a similar question a little while back where I and someone else made the same recommendation.

Do try some good white port! I hope to on our trip next year. A wind distributor friend brought some to the states and boy was it good!

We just booked an AirBnB Experience that provides transportation, a couple of wineries, and a boat tour, along with lunch. We are headed there in October!
