Porto Walking Tour Suggestions

Hello,

We would like to take a 2-3 hour walking tour of Porto. We like to do a walking tour early in our trip and then use the tour to plan where we want to spend more time. We will be in Porto the week of October 9th.

Interested in suggestions for group tours that cap the number of participants to no more than 20 or so. Knowledgeable local guides who don’t read a script. Ideally smaller tours are preferred but our budget is about 60 euro per person.

Appreciate any suggestions - particularly recent experiences.

I considered the following "free" walking tours for both Porto and Lisbon during our September trip:

guruwalk.com

freetour.com

Tip-based. Suggest:
+/- €10-20 pp or about €5-10 pp/hr

In the end, we just did our own walking tour, partly based on Rick Steves' book and Google maps.

Thanks all! We ended up going with Hi Porto Walkers. Great tour and would recommend for anyone interested in getting a good overview of the city, history, culture and current issues facing the people of Porto and Portugal.
