Two of us will be there Monday April 8th snd would love to do a shorter river cruise without wine does that exist? TYIA!

I can't speak to the cruises, but one alternative would be to take the train
that goes from Porto to Pocinho and back (or only go partway, but the schedules
are not that frequent).
For instance, go to Pinhao, have lunch at the Vintage House, and then return
to Porto.

By the river there are a number of 1 hour cruises if you feel the need to go on one.
